Contribution Certification

By proceeding with this transaction, you agree to the following contribution rules:

  • I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).

  • This contribution is made from my own personal funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity (including any corporation, labor organization, or other prohibited source) for the purpose of making this contribution.

  • I am at least eighteen years old.

  • I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card (or other personal payment method) and not with a corporate, business, or card issued to another person.

  • Contributions or gifts to Montana political campaigns are not tax deductible.

  • The maximum amount an individual may contribute to a candidate for county office (such as sheriff) is $470 per election (primary or general, as applicable under Montana law; see MCA 13-37-216 and current limits at politicalpractices.mt.gov).

  • Montana law requires the campaign to use best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose aggregate contributions exceed $50 in an election cycle (or applicable reporting period; see MCA 13-37-229). By contributing, you consent to providing this information if required.
